The Self-driving Car concept is moving into reality faster than most people thought. Michigan makes self-driving car history as it has become the first state in the USA to establish comprehensive statewide self-driving regulations. Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder signed four bills that regulate the testing, development and eventually the sale of self-driving cars. The rules allow for the testing of autonomous cars without a human in the front seat, permit firms to use self-driving cars for ride-sharing services and be sold to the public once the technology is tested and certified. Ford (NYSE:F), General Motors (NYSE:GM), Google (GOOG, GOOGL), Fiat Chrysler (NYSE:FCAU), Toyota (NYSE:TM), UBER and LYFT helped shape the legislation.
